Traditional cashmere pashmina scarf handmade in Kashmir., This is a one of a kind piece of art, very hard to find. A great add-on to an exclusive pashmina collection. It has a spring green base, with block prints design and fine needlework highlights.
Cashmere is combed out by herding nomads from the small Pashmina goat living high up in the mountains of Ladakh, India, in the Himalayan range. The hair is hand spun by ladies in Srinagar, then weaved also by hand, on old traditional wooden looms. Micro needlework is done by one artisan in Goos village, for the whole scarf.
Can be worn as a scarf, a wrap or a shoulder shawl. Would even look great hung on a wall.
