Black Jalli Cashmere Pashmina Shawl

Black thick cashmere pashmina shawl, with micro needlework signed by the artist, a master from the village of Gous, in Kashmir.  This is a true piece of art, worthy of a great pashmina or art collection. Can be worn as a luxury ultra soft and warm shawl or hung on a wall as an awe-inspiring work of art.

Cashmere is combed out by herding nomads from the small Pashmina goat living high up in the mountains of Ladakh, India, in the Himalayan range. The hair is hand spun by ladies in Srinagar, then weaved also by hand, on old traditional wooden looms.
